I love Sundays. It’s a start to a new week. I am able feel some relief knowing the kids have school the next day. I also love to kick back and relax and just spend time with the boys. We have been busy. Blake with surgery Friday and healing this weekend. He did great by the way.
So today I fell back on my fall recipes. I love fall. Though we have a ways yet before we start cooling down here. I do love that comfort that comes from homemade applesauce and Paula Deen’s Applebutter Pumpkin Pie. I love hot chocolate season. Not healthy I know but it is the occasional comforts that I enjoying.
I love the fall season. So excited to see Starbucks has brought back their pumpkin line back. We warmed up this morning with a hot tea and a pumpkin cream cheese muffin. I was caught by Paul who thanked me for sharing with him. I guess I owe him Starbucks when I see him in three weeks.
I am happy I will see a bit of fall colors. That is the one thing I miss living down here but you can’t get me north. I love my warm temps and that the cold only last a few short months and its not even as bad as CT! I do miss the colors.

I have to thank Shannon and Jennifer for taking on the kiddos. I know they are big undertaking and socially um really lacking. I know how hard they are trust me I do. Thank you girls for offering up your services so I can see my husband and get the Army stuff done that needs to be done. I can not tell you how much I appreciate it.
I made homemade applesauce and applesauce pancakes. The kids downed them like they were going out of style. We also did meatloaf. All first signs of fall being around the corner. For the applesauce I used truvia instead of sugar. Did everything I could to make everything as healthy as possible. Tomorrow is weigh in day.
