I wanted to take a minute and thank Paul and Tami From Delta Cross. They work on Sunday’s at Paul’s Basic Training church. Paul has never been one for church. This is something he looks forward to. I love that he loves the service that Paul and Tami puts on it, It gives me peace here at home knowing that he can find some comfort in the arms of God. I know he is home sick and this is the one luxury that he has is Sundays worship. Then coffee and cookies. It give him and the other soldiers a bit of home.
Not only do they put on an amazing service my Pauls words, they also take pictures and give messages you leave for your loved one. How awesome is that? This is something that is not required of them. They chose to do this out of the kindness of their hearts. While I haven’t found any pictures of Paul. I have told Paul to search them out and thank them and have his done for his boys. These people are amazing. I was able to share their private link with a few of my girlfriends who have spouses training with Paul and they all have found quite a few. I was so excited for them.
Christine and I joke that is is like finding waldo in sea of camouflage and bald heads. You really have to search for your own waldo. They all look alike. It cracked us up.
So Tami and Paul thank you so much for what you do for our families. It is nice to see the guys looking so good. They all look tired but they are all still smiling. That is important to us back home to know. All we get is that five minute phone call on Sundays. This just makes Sunday that much brighter.
I know I and the rest of the families are so appreciative.
Here is about the soliders they adopted at christmas time.
