On Saturday December 16th we went to see Cirque Dreams Holidaze. We saw Cirque Dreams Jungle Fantasy when were stationed in Germany. We had really high expectations for this show. They did not disappoint at all.
I was excited to be walking up to the Grand Ole Opry. I had only been once before. When you walk up to the area to go into the show they have performers outside doing all sort of things from Body Contortion, Unicycle riding and more. It was amazing to watch. I am not coordinated in the least. I always love watching these types of acts. They had a group dancing as well. They were so beautiful and graceful to watch. I was so busy watching The Ornaments outside that I did not get any photos. I was disappointed when I realized that.

The Opry is a perfect setting for this show. It is cozy and quaint. Not a bad seat in the house. We were in the middle orchestra section. When the show starts there is so much to look at on stage. I didn’t know where to look but I did notice everyone around me and myself included had a huge smile on our faces. They did not go away the entire show. The singers were beyond talented. Their vocal ranges were so impressive. The dancing and aerial acts were incredible.
The costumes were stunning. They were fun and different. I love how some had a whimsical feel and others futuristic feel. They were so intricate in detail and colors. It was like you were in a snow globe.

I love that they call the cast Ornaments. Mrs. Clause was fantastic. She was definitely one of the favorites. The cowboy being my top favorite. My husband loved the Penguins. Some of the songs they performed to was Rocking Around, Winter Wonderland and Holy Night. The performance with Holy Night moved me to tears. There were quite a few times that I gasped out loud. There are no nets under these performers. They are doing stunts that are dangerous but so beautiful as they sore through the air. The wobbling Penguins scared the heck out of me. I gasped so many times. This show is pure perfection. Fun for the whole family.
The whole show is like watching a Broadway Musical and you add in some Cirque Show, when you add it all together you get this amazingly awesome production. Not once did I look at my husband and say is it done yet. When it was over we were NO! We wanted more to watch. Such an amazing job they did with this show. If it comes back to Nashville next year we will be going back. We highly recommend this show. You will not be disappointed. You can catch Cirque Dreams Holidaze in Nashville until the 27th of December. The images in center belong to @carolinacrazies and the rest were provided by another guest of the show.
