We have been posting a bunch about RED Fridays. Red Fridays are an easy way to show your support for our deployed troops. This is something we have done in Germany and really trying to start a big push here in the states. It is an easy way for you to show them that they are not forgotten. You can share on Twitter using hash tag red Friday or link up with Red Friday Facebook. It doesn’t cost anything but a selfie. I know many think well the deployed guys don’t see this anyway but they do. It is a simple thing that makes our men and women thankful.
We as a military family ask that you help show support to our brave men and women. They are truly selfless. They are missing their families and giving up their lives to protect our freedoms. It is not easy spending nine plus months without your loved ones. The only contact you have is email, phone or Skype. That is if you are not in a black out period. One of my goals when becoming a military spouse to make sure everyone knew how special our soldiers are. I have always believed this growing up with a family rich in military roots. I have had the opportunity to talk with amazing veterans and currant active duty soldiers. The one thing they all have in common is they love when the community reminds them of their support.
