Nathan our youngest never stops trying. He dreams big and loves big. School has always been hard for him. I worry about him the most. This year he is surprising us all. He was just recently inducted to his schools National Beta Club. You have to meet a certain GPA and are required to earn 10 points a year. it is amazing the things that they have these children do. I think it is good for him to have to do these things. We are beyond proud of him. He is pulling straight A’s this year. This is not something that we think we would ever see out of him. I know he hears us talking to his brother who has dreams about being a lawyer. We asked Nathan what he wanted to do with his life and what does he hope to be remembered for in this life. He wants to be a farm vet. He want to treat small animals, poultry and Large animals. He hopes to attend UT program and Auburn. He doesn’t want to travel far like his brother. I think all our hours of drilling into Blake that schools don’t pay for themselves and that scholarships are needed has sunk in for the win. He is doing 4h and then will do FFA for extra curricular activities. I am beyond proud of this child.
It goes to show a child with Autism can do anything. I am beyond proud of the strides this child has made and is making. The years of therapy and support are paying off. Each year we get to see another side of this child.
