Luckily after 11 years of being together he knows when I am about ready to go bat shit crazy. From stresses of inspections to children to finance and more he is able to see my level of crazy. This weekend I was pretty much going to look like this
The kids have been cooped up since summer in Germany means bucket fulls of rain and long clothes. Seriously we were in jeans most of July. I only have the car so often. Ours is still being held hostage at the port. That is a totally different post in itself. So with wild monkeys in the house I am about to loose it. Let alone stay on top of the cleaning. Who knew with them home it would be so hard to keep 1100 sq foot apartment clean??? Should have been filled with days of wine. What was I thinking.
He then came home to tell me that he had to hold someones hand while they changed their oil and what not. Really when did an oil change become a two man job? See above picture and Que in the immediate response that he was taking the boys with him. Smart man! I have not been sleeping well and neither have the kids. So little sleep and no break means blood shot eyes walking zombie for a mom. Whom my son proceeded to tell me that I really should adjust my attitude. Really Dude?
So knowing my Sunday would at least be two hours of free time what did I do? I slept! I slept from 930 to 930 Sunday morning. Got up said goodbye. Hubby tucked me in on the couch with American TV and I slept from 10:15 to 3:00. I awoke feeling like a brand new woman. My husband knew to give me that break so I could regroup. So yes ladies this week he rocks. Apparently my youngest thought it would be fun to take a picture of mommy. It was found on the camera today.
He knows what to do to keep the peace in the house. Small miracles do exist.
