I have joined up with a great program called Madly In Love With Me. Christine Arylo started this campaign. If you don’t love yourself then who will? How can we raise our children to love and respect themselves if you don’t?
So to find out more you can click here. I think every woman needs to read this and share it with her daughter.
So here is myself love. I love that I don’t let life knock me down. I always get up dust myself off. I know my favorite characteristics about me are my eyes, my personality, my sense of compassion. Do I love every inch of me yet no but I know I will thanks to this new campaign.
“Do something YOU just love to do or have always wanted to do – spend the day reading in
bed, go to the ocean, get a mani/pedi and massage at the spendy spa, stroll through the
museum. Whatever you choose, do it without guilt and with the attitude of “Of COURSE.”
End the evening with a romantic dinner with yourself. Whether your cook it yourself or dine
out, dress up for the occasion, get yourself flowers, play inspiring music, and set the mood.” source Christine’s Self Love book. This is my favorite statement from the book. I don’t do me time. If I do, I feel guilty. I am going to make this a priority once to twice a week to make time for me. How can I be a good mom, wife, friend if I am wearing myself thin. She just slapped me with the it’s OK to do so.
I want to love all of me. I think by taking the time to be with me, just me. Meaning no technology and distractions I can do just that. I will be walking you one day a week through my journey. Starting the 13th. Letting you know what I think and how I am doing on that quest. I would love for you to join me in this. You can go to Christine’s site and get your tool kit.
