Paul and I are off for the next two weeks and will be traipsing around Europe. I can’t wait for more adventures. Saturday we went to Luxembourg and I fell in love with this tiny country. We started a day at Grevenmacher and the Butterfly Garden. We had a blast. It cost 20 Euro for the four of us to go. We went in and it was like a scene out of a Disney movie with all these beautiful Butterflies Flying around. My favorites the Blue and Black. Here are some pictures of them.
The flowers were just as beautiful as the butterflies. It reminded me of home for the 1.5 hours we were there. We used to take trips up to Massachusetts for the butterfly conservatory up there. It was nice just having a sense of home for the short time.
We enjoyed sitting by the koi pond and as we were leaving we noticed another little animal trying to blend in. It was a chameleon.
We just had a blast. If you are stationed overseas and live close enough to Luxembourg this a must stop and see. So peaceful and tranquil. They speak English and have materials in English for you. It is about an hour and forty five minutes from Wiesbaden. From here the city is about 15 minutes.
