Jersey Belle premiered earlier this month on Bravo TV. I have come to love this show. It is unlike the other reality shows that are out. Seriously. I have watched housewives of New Jersey and OC. While I can watch or not watch those shows. If I know I am going to be out late on Jersey Belle night I record it and come straight home to watch.
I love that there is no drama on this show. Don’t get me wrong there are struggles. What happens when you transplant a girl from Jersey to a country town in Alabama? She has to make a new tribe and she has done so. Jaime is a PR executive and has some major clients. She doesn’t always fit into the prim and proper southern girl from Alabama. What I love this this community of women accept each other for who they are.
First episode is a wedding shower for Arden. She is marrying again and this was her husbands first marriage. So all stops were put out. The theme was a tea party if I recall correctly. She was going to bring a lasagna. They laughed. So she said she would bring Cannoli. First response was ” What’s a cannoli?” I can only hope she has since taught them about these delightful Italian treats.
Seriously no topic is left out from traditions to vibrators over wine. These women are a hoot. I think you could honestly take anyone off the street and sit them at the table for dinner. They would just accept them for who they were. I would love to sit and have coffee with Jaime. Here are a few clips from the Bravo website.
I cannot even express how refreshing this show is. They all have their share of struggles per say from a single mom struggling to raise her kids and find new love. To one lady struggling with fertility. Jaime wanting another baby. I can relate to Jaime wanting another child. It has been in talks in our home. Not sure where it will lead for Jaime. I am excited to watch.
I love how they build each other up and not tear down. We as women do so much tearing down of each other. Jaime is full of one liners that crack you up. I became and instant fan when she told her kids to lock it up. We tell that to our boys all the time. No time for tantrums. One of the best lines from Jaime is ” Would I submit to my husband? Sure if I was tied up!” Seriously laughed out loud. I love her humor and her sincerity.
The show airs on Monday nights at 10/9c. You must watch. The show is hysterical. Hands down one of the best summer releases. Jaime Primak Sullivan not only stars in the show but is the creative producer. It is not casted which is another thing to love about the show. It just feels more natural as you watch the shows play out.
You can interact directly with Jaime on her facebook page. She post hilarious videos and special messages. Love that she interacts with all her fans.
Can’t wait to see next weeks episode and many more.
