Sunday February 1st we got to see the Harlem Globetrotters. What was special about this visit with the Harlem Globetrotters was the team honored my husband. They teamed up with Military Veteran Project. At each game The Harlem Globetrotters will honor a Hometown Hero.
It was an amazing experience and a great way for our family to reconnect after 8.5 months. Paul was called to center court and presented with a special camouflage ball that was signed by the players. Prefect for his man cave. Love it! He was really touched that these two groups were honoring him. He doesn’t think anything he does is worthy of attention. So Humble. Yet he does sacrifice a lot for our family and our country. So I know this made him feel really good. It made the boys even more proud of their dad.
If you have never been to a Harlem Globetrotter Show you are missing out. They are amazing. You laugh from start to finish. We had the opportunity to sit with the team this time. It was originally just Paul but Coach Hardy allowed us to stay. Nathan had Smooth and TNT doing selfies with him. He had Bull trying to get him to sniff his shoe. He taught Stretch ( 7ft 4 inch) how to play Pokémon. Blake was into it all and High Fiving great shots. Coach Hardy got Paul up and helping. It was amazing. The smiles did not leave the kids or my husbands face for hours.
We thank both the Harlem Globetrotters and Military Veteran Project for this amazing day. One that we will never forget.

My poor kiddo is so uncoordinated and I don’t think he has ever done the YMCA but he had fun anyways
