Goodbye 2010 and Hello 2011. After a year that has been out right difficult. I welcome 2011 with open arms and a warm smile. I am bound and determined to make this coming year fantastic.
2010 was a year in patience. We moved to South Carolina filled with hope and promises of a better life. We found great job and great job fired the hubby. Then the down ward spiral began with how we were going to stay a float. The job market in the south stinks. Though I am sure it stinks every where right now. We had a choice to make and it wasn’t one we took on lightly. We did it for the most part in secret until we knew this what we wanted to accomplish. He signed on with the Military. Which meant this mom was now a single mom while he went to play soldier. Play he did on rock walls, rope courses, gas chambers and more. He loved it and he loves his job now. We struggled with how to stay connected and feel connected. I am glad we pushed through those walls.
Financially this was one of the hardest we had. We were strapped every which way and didn’t know if we would survive. We did. I am ready for 2011 to be a bit easier for us. We need it to be.
With all the bad there was good too. We met Lily and her company. I love what she and her business is all about. I am glad to be apart. We also had a few sponsored vacations thanks to Atlanta and Florida. I still have a few post to do for Florida but I need faster internet. I am hoping to get to the USO after I drop the kids at school on Tuesday. It is extremely trying for me to upload anything. Five pictures at a time we are talking 25 to 30 minutes. Frustrating. We also had the opportunity to meet online some fantastic Military Wives. I have meet a few in person. The core group of five ladies I talk with regularly I absolutely adore.
The military as given us a fantastic opportunity to visit Europe. One we are not taking for granted. We plan to travel as much as we can. I am so excited for that. I am still able to stay at home so I can volunteer with the kids activities. We are settling in nicely.I am loving it here.
For the most part I am ready to kick 2010’s butt to the curb and just start fresh and renewed.
