We have been really busy. So much so I needed to walk away from the website for a bit. I am fully recharged and ready to get back to work.
I have been sick. So much so that I do nothing but sleep. I go to work and come home and go to bed. I am finally functioning normally again. I took some professional development classes for work. They were amazing. Those who have just had children diagnosed on the spectrum look up the following book The Verbal Behavior Approach. I am using it some with one of the students I work with. It has made a difference with the time I work with him. The book is buy Dr. Mary Barbera. It was a great class. I have been busy planning family trips and our vow renewal. Due to my sickness has been put off until 2019 so I can do it just the way I want to do it. I am so glad we pushed it back. I have been working on a secret anniversary project. We will be married 15 years April 16. I really hope Paul loves what I have planned. Our anniversary this year falls on Easter. So we will celebrate the day before.
Blake is doing amazing. We made his schedule for high school. I can’t believe I just typed that. Not sure where my sweet baby boy went. He is full teen mode. Ornery as all get out. I supposed that comes with the territory. He will be doing Ap and Honors courses. My child who is a freshman will be doing college courses. I can’t believe I just typed that either. Time sure does go by fast. He decided he is going to join the Future Business Leaders of America and a few other clubs along with doing the bowling team. I am so proud of the young man he is becoming. He is taller than me now. He is starting to get a mustache. He is an a/b student. Honor roll all the time. So very proud of him.
Nathan is doing fantastic. He has joined 4h. He is currently doing the chicken chain project. The girls are so cute and all you here is peep peep peep. Hades loves to watch them. He has full responsibility. He is doing a fantastic job. I help with the cost slips and things like that as he is 11 and is unsure of profit vs loss. Right now we are at a loss but when they start to lay we will have a profit. I have plenty who want fresh eggs. He is doing great in school. He is on the school newspaper. I love his Pokémon Go Articles. He is also an a/b student. He will be in middle school come august. In Marshall County 6th grade is still elementary school.
Paul is doing good. He loves his job with the VA. He feels he has a purpose and loves serving other Veterans. He struggles still with wanting to be active and not active. He realized being not active is what was best for us as a family. The boys behavior is so much better with him home more. He hates the drive to Nashville but knows it is temporary. He will be able to work from home eventually. I am so proud of him. He does such a great job. He works so hard for his family. He does enjoy what he does. He has been busy installing hard wood floors to help with the allergies. I am so over carpets. He and I cleaned them constantly and the water was still black. We also painted Blake’s room. He has been busy prepping our yard for the spring and summer. Getting ready for the garden and fixing the deck. Love that he is handy enough to do all this stuff.
As a family we have traveled to Nashville and Huntsville. We have loved both places. Nashville is like home. I love going and people watching. We go to Nudies Honky Tonk if we don’t have the kids. Caitlyn in our favorite waitress. So if you go to lower Broadway stop in and see her. She is amazing. We love walking by all the bars with live music and seeing the local talent. It is amazing. There is a 12 year old girl who plays at Margaritaville. I will be posting these reviews shortly. I promise they will not disappoint.
All the animals are doing great. They are all sassy.
I am excited to see what the next few months bring. We have tons of things planned and in the works. Just can’t share the details yet. Stay tuned.
