I cannot believe in a few short hours I will be watching your 5th grade promotion ceremony. Mommy and Daddy are proud of you. You will not understand the amount of joy you have brought to us until you have children of your own. We set down the rules with school. That you knew what was acceptable and what wasn’t acceptable. You have brought us home honor roll every grade that has used that system.
The one time you brought home an F you were in hysterics. I don’t expect you to learn spelling words in 24 hours. That brought on another talk of expectations. You my boy put so much pressure on yourself to good. Remember as long as you try your hardest we will be happy with you. I know you my boy you are going to go on and do great things. You have so many dreams and I cannot wait to see what one plays out or if it changes.
I seems like yesterday we were bringing you home from the hospital. I cried the first day of kindergarten that you were leaving mommy. Silly I know my boy. I remember you being this small like it was yesterday. How much you wanted to be like your Uncle James and Joel. Where it was Momma sing the sunshine song. You would promptly fall asleep. Always.
You will rock what ever you put your mind too. You are strong minded. You have a love of History and Math. You rock at spelling. You don’t have a love for science. You did not get that from Mommy. You are a talented budding artist. You love all sports and you are having to decide between bowling and basketball for middle school activities. You my boy are one of my greatest gifts I have been given. Mommy is having trouble putting her words out there. I love you to the moon and back.
I know you were bummed some of you family can’t be there but Mommy will video it for them. We love you buddy and so very proud of you. You have done Amazing this year with all your school changes. Love you my bubba.
