Last Saturday we headed out to barefoot park in Bad Sobernheim. In tow was another family who we are great friends with. Always an adventure when we are together. It started with me on facebook with this picture
We finally made it to our destination after a bunch of antics and texts shared. Larry (code name for Melanies husband) and Paul decided to lead the way. The girls laughed. All the boys tried to figure out what we were doing. You enter the park through a little tunnel and pay. It was 11 euro for 2 adult and 2 kinder. Lockers are to the left for 1 euro. You don’t get your euro back.
Let the games begin. The first thing you do is walk through the walk through this mud pit. It is intersting. I am not sure I was a fan but can say at the end of the day your legs are defintly exfoliated. Your feet are massaged.

As you walk through you encounter all kinds of different textures. Some are nice and some not so comfortable. My kids loved the climbing and walking through the river. I enjoyed all of it and the laughter that came with going with good friends. Minus the almost being killed by Larry and Paul when they acted a fool pulling us in a boat across the river. That is a story for another day.
So much fun. If you have the have the chance drive out there. It is only a 45 minute drive from Wiesbaden.Cheap family fun. We had a picnic there. Don’t be surprised if the Germans just come and plop themselves down next to you. Apparently that is normal here.
