2012 rang in and we were all excited about the pending year. Little did we know that January was going to be the worst month of the year. We found out that Paul was going to have to say goodbye to his mom. He had to make choices that no child should have to. January did bring a bright spot. The Cirque Dreams tour came to Ramstein.
February thru March were trying to get back into the swing of things. Paul had his knee repaired. We had heard from on of the donor recipients. As my mother in law was able to give the gift of life. What an amazing opportunity. I worked at 1502 and oh the drama that job entailed. I also at this time started to feel the need to think about home daycare though I did not express that desire yet. It also brought us to http://caiafacraziness.com/wordless-wednesday-with-linky-37/ and http://caiafacraziness.com/mermaid-lake/.
April brought us 2 weeks of travel. We saw Amsterdam, Luxembourg, Rothenberg O.D. Tauber, and more. Amsterdam being my favorite. It also brought some haunting paintings. Along with the most important event of the month. Our ten year wedding anniversary.
May brought us Nathan’s Birthday. He turned 7 and is an amazing boy. Love him to pieces. It also brought on family photos. Along with the start of the street festivals. Love this time of year in Germany.
June brought us fathers day. My husband is what every man should strive to be in a father. He is simply amazing. I never have to worry with him if my kids are taken care. He had to really step up . It also brought me the departure of my job and opening FCC. I had a straw that broke the camels back moment and thankful for it. My eyes were opened wide.
July brought us my sisters birthday. Also Americas birthday. Much better celebration over here this year. We did a trip to France with Alfaro and Noemi. She is a fantastic girl. More hectic running and inspections to open this home daycare.
August brought us Barefoot Park with the North family. It is a sensory park. We had a blast. It also brought Blake’s birthday and the opening of our daycare. Paul has been promoted to corporal. So very proud of him.
September brought my birthday. A great night out with friends. Also brought us to Mespelbrunn Castle. School is back in session. With Blake in 4th grade and Nate in Second Grade. They have amazing teachers.
October-December brought us many laughs. It brought us to many street fest. We did some local castle hopping. I should say September on I had been horrifically sick. I finally got the diagnosis in October. I am finally feeling better and slowly adding back to my diet. We also said goodbye to Alfaro and a few others. Such is the military way. We did a trip to Rothenberg Christmas market and a few others. So much fun!
This year has been on of growth and adventure. So looking forward to seeing what 2013 has in store for us.
